PFU #038 -A DAY FOR NIGHT HOLIDAY MIX

In a rare good turn in a badly long horror franchise, Halloween III: Season of the Witch ditch Mike Myers for some reason and decided to make a Twilight Zone episode with a lot of gore and media satire. It was a pretty good idea.
Our very good friend STRANGE CULTURE released a fantastic Halloween mix comprised of horror soundtracks this year. It’s everything Halloween music should be: terrifying, atmosphere, and very sex. All the best are here: Morricone, Nicolai, Goblin, Ortolani, Carpenter…
TRACK LIST:
Hello Friends and Internets. Here is this year’s Halloween mix. It’s a long one, and should be perfect for your Halloween evening activities. This year I have a couple of extra treats for you too. The first is a Halloween “story” or experiance of sorts. It was done by Gregg Turkington (better known as Neil Hamburger). It is his comedic take on relaxation cassettes and it is truly hilarious and terrifying. The link is below.
The other is a little ZOMBIE MOVIE that me and some friends made for the 24 hour film contest. Bear in mind that the entire thing was shot, written, edited, and scored in 24 hours. It’s not exactly Brunel but it’s fun enough to spend 5 minutes on. I hope everyone likes the music and other goodies. Have a great Halloween…
Have fun.

Hello kids. I know it’s been way, way, way too long since I’ve posted anything, but this blog is officially back in business. Due to several reports that the Heartbreak Anthology was bringing the room down, it has been discontinued…well moved. It was a good way to lead off this blog, but the options are so immense that I decided to give the heartbreak mixes their own blog. It’s a blog of all heartbreak music that will be done by me and lots of guests. That way we can cover all of the bases on that subject in terms of gender, race, orientation, etc.
The Heartbreak Blog is called IT’S NOT ME, IT’S YOU. It lives here: http://heartbreakcity.wordpress.com
Now it’s time to get Happy. To atone for such a long absence I’m welcoming everyone back with THREE Halloween mixes, and not a minute too soon. I’m including the Halloween mix that I made last year and two for this year. One is meant to be more generally listenable and the other is specifically designed to scare or at least unnerve whoever is listening to it. There are some fall mixes coming next week. Stay tuned, thanks for coming back, and have a great Halloween.
